dc.description.abstractBu tez dört bölümden oluşturulmuştur. Birinci bölümünde çalışmaya temel olan konu ile ilgili yapılanlar hakkında bilgi verildi. İkinci bölümde tezde kullanılacak tanımlar ve teoremlar açıklandı. Üçüncü bölümde Szasz-Mirakjan-Kantorovith operatörleri genelleştirilerek elde edilen operatörlerin özellikleri ve yakınsaklık hızı farklı birkaç uzayda incelendi. Son bölümde ise sonsuz aralıklarda yakınsaklık hızı incelenip bazı operatör için uygulanması verilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThis thesis consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, brief background information on fundamental concepts and previous similar studies on the subject are presented. The second chapter is composed of important fundamental definitions and theorems that were employed. Next, a sequence of positive linear operators which generalizes the Szasz-Mirakjan-Kantorovith operators is introduced in the third chapter. Furthermore, estimates of the rate of convergence by means of suitable moduli of smoothness are provided. Finally, in the fourth chapter, an estimation of the rate of approximation by positive linear operators of functions that have a finite limit at infinity is obtained.en_US
