dc.description.abstractTezimizi oluşturan Hicaz Vilayet Salnâme Defteri, 1884 yılında Osmanlı Devleti'nin, Hicaz bölgesinin Mekke, Medine ve Cidde sancakları ile bu sancaklara bağlı kaza ve nahiyelerin tarihini ele almaktadır. Çalışmamızda Hicaz Vilayetinde valilik yapmış kişileri ve görev sürelerini ve Hicaz Vilayetinin idari, siyasi, kültürel, iktisadi ve içtimai yapısını incelemekteyiz. Salnâmeden hareket ederek ve 19.yy Osmanlı Devleti'nin içinde bulunduğu siyasi durumunu da göz önüne aldığımızda, devlet idaresinin Hicaz Vilayeti yönetiminde söz sahibi olsa da bölge hâkimiyetinde zayıfladığını ve diğer dış devletlerin müdahalesine açık hale geldiğini tespit etmekteyiz. Bu çalışma ile Osmanlı Devleti'nin bölge ile olan bağlarını daha iyi değerlendirmeye çalışacağız. Anahtar Kelimeler: Hicaz, Mekke, Medine, Salnâme.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe Hicaz Province Annales, which constituted our study, deals with the history of the Ottoman Empire, the Hijaz region's Mecca, Medina and Jeddah cities and the districts and divisions related to these cities in 1884. The administrative, political, cultural, economic and social structures of the Hicaz province are observed in our work during the period of the governorship of the province of Hijaz. When we consider the political situation of the Ottoman Empire in the 19th century, we find that central authority have weakened in regional affirs and the region started to be open to intervention by other foreign states, With this study, we will try to evaluate the Ottoman Empire's relations with the region better.
