dc.description.abstractYerköy İlçesi Yer Adları adlı bu tez Yozgat'ın Yerköy ilçesine bağlı elli sekiz köy ve bu köylere bağlı iki mahalleden derlenen toplam 2360 yer adı üzerine yapılmış bir mikrotoponimi çalışmasıdır. Tezin giriş bölümünde Ad bilimi ve onun alt dalı olan Yer Adı Bilimi hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Daha sonra çalışmamızı sınırlandırdığımız Yerköy ilçesinin tarihi ve coğrafyası ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiştir. Ayrıca bu bölümde Yerköy ilçesi yer adlarının tarihi Devlet Arşivleri Genel Müdürlüğü'nün yayınlarının yardımıyla belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Tezin "Yer Adlarının Türleri" bölümünde yöreden tespit edilen yer adları sınıflandırılmıştır. Buna göre çalışmamızdaki yer adlarının türleri Yerleşim Yeri Adları, Yükselti ve Kayaç Adları, El Adları, Yol ve Köprü Adları, Tarım Alanı Adları, Su Adları, Kentlik Adları ve Orman-Koru Adlarıdır. "Leksik-Semantik İnceleme" bölümünde tezde geçen yer adları semantik açıdan incelenmiş, adlandırmada kullanılan sözcüklerin anlamları ve adların veriliş sebepleri açıklanmıştır. Tezin "Yer Adlarının Yapısı" bölümünde tezde geçen yer adları üzerinde morfolojik inceleme yapılmıştır. Tezin son bölümünde tezde geçen yer adlarında kullanılan coğrafi terim niteliğinde olan sözcüklerin ve yöresel sözcüklerin birer sözlüğü hazırlanmıştır. dc.description.abstractThis thesis titled "Yerköy District Location Names" is a microtopology study on a total of 2360 place names compiled from fifty eight villages connected to the Yerköy district of Yozgat and two villages connected to these villages. In the introductory part of the thesis, information on Ad name and its name, Place Name Science, was given. Later, we gave information about the history and geography of the Yerköy district, which we have limited our work to. Moreover, in this section, the names of the Yerköy districts have been tried to be determined with the help of the publications of the General Directorate of State Archives. In the section titled "Types of Place Names", place names that are determined by the locality are classified. Accordingly, the types of place names in our study are Settlement Place Names, Elevation and Rock Names, Hand Names, Road and Bridge Names, Agricultural Field Names, Water Names, Urban Names and Forest-Names. In the "Lexic-Semantic Review" section, the place names in the thesis are examined semantically and the meanings of the words used in the nomenclature and the reasons for giving names are explained. In the section titled "Structure of Place Names", the morphological examination was carried out on the place names in the thesis. In the last part of the thesis, a dictionary of geographical terms and local words used in place names in the thesis are prepared.
