Violin education can be considered within the scope of professional and amateur education. In our country, violin education is a process that aims to develop technical and musical skills in the context of paradigms and methods. Methods, etudes, scale and musical pieces used in this process guide the violin education. In addition, by using the "known to unknown method" Turkish folk music works that can contribute to violin education are also among the educational materials. The use of Turkish folk music works in the violin education process will make important contributions both in terms of technical and musical skills and in terms of preserving and keeping our culture alive. Based on this idea, Rumelian folk songs were selected within the scope of the research and rearranged for two violins. Learning of these folk songs is important in violin education in terms of comprehending the melodic and rhythmic structure specific to the region, developing vocalization and interpretation skills, developing the feeling of playing together, improving sight-reading and transposing skills, and contributing to the creation of musical memory and repertoire. In this research, Rumelian folk songs, which are suitable for the temperament system and have an odd meter structure, were chosen with the opinion of experts. These folk songs have been examined in order to support right-hand and left-hand acquisitions in violin education, to determine at what stage and at what level they can be used in violin education, and to determine their suitability for rearrangement for two violins and to create valid and effective educational material. Research is a descriptive study in which qualitative data collection and analysis techniques are used. The data were collected by document analysis, analyzed and interpreted by content analysis. The musical analysis of Rumelian folk songs were made with expert opinion, and expert opinions were taken in terms of their use in violin education and the suitability of adapting them to two violins. Key Words: Violin education, arrangement, adaptation, Rumelia folk songs.
