Özet
Düş ve rüya aynı anlama sahip iki kelimedir. Düş, uyanıkken de hayal edilen/görülen, rüya ise, uyku sırasında zihinde oluşan, bir kısmı belleğe kaydedilen bir olgu olarak bilinmektedir. Zihinde gerçekleşmesi durumunda imge kavramı da devreye girer. İmge, düşsel olarak zihinde tasarlanan ve duyu organları ile dışarıdan algılanan olguların bilince yansıyan görüntüleridir. Bu bakımdan düş ve imge birbiri ile yakından ilgili kavramlardır. Düş (rüya) görme olgusu, birçok alana etki ettiği gibi resim sanatına da etkisi olmuştur. Birçok sanatçı, düşlerini resmederek ya da düşlerinden ilham alarak, esinlenerek özgün ve oldukça yaratıcı eserler ortaya koymuşlardır. Bu çalışmada, resim sanatı kapsamında düş ve imge kavramları detaylı bir şekilde incelenerek, düş imgelerini eserlerinde kullanan sanatçılar ve konu bütünlüğü kapsamında onların sanat eserleri yorumlanmıştır. Böylece, bireysel bir olgunun (temanın) resim sanatının bir parçasına dönüşmesi anlatılmış olacaktır.

Many artists have produced original and highly creative works by painting their dreams or being inspired by their dreams. In this study, the concepts of dream and image within the scope of painting were examined in detail, the artists who used dream images in their works and their artworks were interpreted within the scope of subject integrity. Thus, the transformation of an individual phenomenon (theme) into a part of painting will be explained.
