dc.description.abstractİnsanlık tarihi boyunca dünyanın kaynakları insanlar tarafından tüketilmiş ve çevrede tahrip edilmiştir. Sanayi devriminden sonra tüketim ve tahribat daha da artmıştır. Yirminci yüz yıldan itibaren artan tahribatın olumsuz neticeleri insanlık tarafından hissedilmeye başlanmıştır. Çevre felaketleri yanında doğal afetlerin sayısının artması insanlarda çevre konusunda farkındalık oluşturmuştur. Bununla birlikte uluslararası kamuoyunda çevre konusu gündeme gelmiştir. Böylece, dünya ülkelerinde çevrenin korunması ve iyileştirilmesi adına çevre ve ekonomi politikası araçları kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu araçlardan belki de en etkilisi çevre vergileridir. Bu çalışmada dünyada çevre vergisi konusunda yaşanan gelişmelerin bir yansıması olarak Türkiye'de çevre vergilerinin gelişimi ele alınmıştır. dc.description.abstractABSTRACT Throughout human history the world's resources have been consumed by people and destroyed in the environment. Consumption and destruction increased after the industrial revolution. The negative consequences of increasing destruction from the 20th century have begun to be felt by humanity. Environmental disasters as well as the increase in the number of natural disasters have created environmental awareness among people. In the international public, the environmental issue has come to the agenda. Thus, in the world countries, environmental and economic policy instruments have begun to be used for the protection and improvement of the environment. Perhaps the most effective of these is environmental taxes. We have made as a reflection of developments in the field of environmental taxes in the world, in this study the development of environmental taxes in Turkey were discussed.
