Özet
ABSTRACT The date of March 12, 1971 is an important date. Because, on that date the Turkish Military Forces captured the govermental power by a coup, but, let the parliament to fulfill its duties and responsibilites. Therefore, Turkey had fallen into a deep political and economic crisis. The coup of 1971 had a background dates back the coup of 1960 and its obvious results. Reforms that put forward by the Turkish Military Forces and the goverments that had been backed by the Turkish Military Forces had been heavly critised. The period that began by the coup of 1971 had also witnessed election of president. Therefore, the two occasions have important effect on in the Turkish political life, from the aspects of political, social and economic. Ill
