| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalıGmada, daha önceden immün olmadığı tespit edilen tip II DM?li hastalarının 0- 1- 12. ay programında tetanoz aGılamaları yapılarak aGı cevaplarının incelenmesi planlandı. ÇalıGmaya tip II DM?li, tetanoz için immün olmadığı tespit edilen 45 hasta (antikor titresi < 0,01 IU/ml) ve tetanoz açısından immün olmayan 37 sağlıklı gönüllü (titre < 0,01 IU/ml) dâhil edildi. Bu hasta ve sağlıklı gönüllü gruplarına tetanoz toksoid aGı programında 0., 1. ve 12. aylarda 3 kez aGılama yapıldı. Her aGılamadan dört hafta sonra toplanan serum örneklerinde, diyabetli hastalar ile sağlıklı kontrol grubu arasında tetanoz aGısına karGı immün cevap, ELISA yöntemi kullanılarak karGılaGtırıldı. | dc.description.abstract | In this study, the response to 0- 1- 12. months tetanus vaccination programs was examined in type II diabetic patients who were diagnosed as non?immune for tetanus prior to the study. The study included forty five patients with type II diabetes mellitus and thirty seven healthy volunteers; both groups had an antibody titer < 0,01 IU/ml, non- immune for tetanus. The subjects in both groups were administered tetanus toxoid vaccine three times on 0., 1. and 12. months. Serum samples were collected four weeks following each vaccination. Immune response to tetanus vaccine was compared between diabetic and control group by using ELISA method.
