Uça, Gökhan, "Türkiye'de Savunma Sanayiinin Tarihi Gelişimi ve Kırıkkale (1923-1950)", Yüksek Lisans Tezi, Kırıkkale, 2017 Bu yüksek lisans tezinde, Osmanlı Devleti'nin ilk savunma sanayi tesisleri olarak kabul edilen Tophane-i Amire ile Türkiye savunma sanayii tarihi başlatılmıştır. Daha sonra sırasıyla, baruthaneler, Tophane Müşirliği kısa bir süre Tophane Nazırlığı ve İmalat-ı Harbiye Umum Müdürlüğü'nü inceleyerek Milli Mücadele döneminde Anadolu'da kurulan savunma sanayi tesisleri başlıklar halinde verilmiştir. Milli Mücadelenin başarıyla sonuçlanmasının ardından Askeri Fabrikalar Umum Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı askeri fabrikalar ve tesisler Anadolu'da kurulmaya başlanmıştır. Askeri Fabrikalar Umum Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı askeri fabrika ve tesislerin Anadolu'da yer seçiminde Kırık köyü arazisinin uygun bulunmasıyla fabrika ve tesisler bu bölgeye kurulmaya başlanarak bugünkü Kırıkkale şehrinin temeli atılmıştır. Tezin araştırma konusu olarak, savunma sanayi fabrikalarının bu bölgede kurulma sebepleri, bölgenin tarihi, coğrafi konumu ve savunma sanayi fabrikaların kurulmasının ardından bölgedeki gelişmeler 1923-1950 yılları arasında incelenmiştir. Uça, Gökhan, "The Historical Development of Defense Industry of Turkey and Kirikkale (1923-1950)" Master's Thesis, Kirikkale, 2017 In this master's thesis, The History of Turkey's Defense Industry is started with Tophane-i Amire which is accepted as the first defense industry facility of Ottoman Empire. Later, respectively, defense industry facilities founded in Anatolia in National Struggle Period, such as gun powder factories, armory of marshal, ministry of armory and public directorate of battle products are explained. After the successful result of National Struggle; military factories and facilities attached to PublicDirectorate of Military Factories were founded, Kırık village was approved to be the mast suitable place for factories and facilities and they were established there. Thus, Kirikkale city was founded. As the research topic of this master thesis; the reasons why the factories of defense industry were founded, the history and the geopraphical location of the area and the development in the area after the foundation of defense industry and factories between 1923-1950.
