Özet
Tez çalışması kapsamında, Kırıkkale ili Yahşihan ilçesi sınırlarında yer alan Bağdat Deresi (Karadere)'nin yaklaşık 22.328 km2 'lik su toplama havzasında sentetik birim hidrograf yöntemleri ile (DSİ Sentetik ve Mockus metodu) belirli tekerrür süreleri için taşkın pik debileri (2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 500, 1000 yıl) hesaplaması yapılmıştır. Daha sonra çalışma bölgesinde yeterli sayıda ve nitelikte en kesit çıkarılmış ve dere üzerindeki mevcut menfezlerin taşkınlara karşı performansı incelenmiştir. Bir boyutlu hidrolik modelleme çalışmalarında HEC-RAS programı kullanılmıştır. Sentetik metotlarla hesaplanan taşkın pik debileri için taşkın öteleme yapılarak taşkın risk haritaları elde edilmiş ve menfez kesitlerinin yeterli olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Buna bağlı olarak, menfez kesitlerinin büyük debilere maruz kaldığında yetersiz olduğu belirlenmiştir.
Within the scope of the thesis study, Bagdat stream (Karadere), which is located within the borders of Yahşihan district of Kırıkkale Province. There is approximately 22,328 km2 water collection area in Karadere. In the water catchment basin, the flood peak flow rates (2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 500, 1000 years) were calculated for certain recurrence periods with synthetic unit hydrograph methods (DSI Synthetic and Mockus method). Later, a sufficient number of cross section were made in the study area and the performance of existing culverts on the stream against floods was examined. HEC-RAS program was used in one dimensional hydraulic modeling studies. For the flood peak flow rates calculated with synthetic methods, flood risk maps were obtained by making flood shifts and it was investigated whether the culvert sections were sufficient. Accordingly, it has been determined that the culvert sections are insufficient when exposed to large flow rates.
