dc.description.abstractYapılan bu araştırmada ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin serbest zaman değerlendirme alışkanlıklarının bazı demografik değişkenlere göre incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Betimsel araştırma modeline göre gerçekleştirilen çalışmaya 2016-2017 eğitim ve öğretim yılında Kırıkkale ilinde bulunan ortaöğretim kurumlarında öğrenim gören 743 kız ve 358 erkek olmak üzere toplam 1101 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmanın veri toplama sürecinde araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen "Ortaöğretim Öğrencilerinin Serbest Zaman Düzeyleri Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizlerinde Independent t Test ile One-Way ANOVA analizlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonunda ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin serbest zamanlarını değerlendirme düzeylerinin öğrenim görülen sınıf, cinsiyet, değişkenlerine göre istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir (p<0.05). Buna karşılık öğrencilerin serbest zamanlarını değerlendirme düzeylerinin aile gelir düzeyi, yaşanılan ev türü, anne ve baba eğitim düzeyi, anne ve baba mesleği, harçlık durumu, evlerinde kendilerine ait oda bulunma durumu, evde internet bulunma durumu, akıllı telefona sahip olma durumu, bilgisayar veya tablete sahip olma durumu değişkenlerine göre istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı farklılık göstermediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır (p>0.05). Sonuç olarak, ortaöğretim öğrencilerinde demografik değişkenlerin genel anlamda serbest zaman etkinliklerine katılım düzeyini etkilemediği söylenebilir. dc.description.abstractIn this study, it was aimed to examine the free time evaluation habits of the secondary school students according to some demographic variables. A total of 1101 students 743 girls and 358 boys studying in secondary education institutions in the province of Kırıkkale participated in the study conducted according to the descriptive research model in the 2016-2017 education year. In the data collection period of the study, "Free Time Levels of Secondary School Students" developed by the researcher was practised. Independent t Test and One-Way ANOVA analyzes were used in the statistical analysis of the data gathered in the study. As a result of the study, it was found that the level of evaluation of the free time of secondary school students showed statistically significant difference according to variables of the grade, gender and education (p<0.05). On the other hand, the level of evaluation of students' free time did not show statistically significant difference according to variables of family income level, type of home lived, education level of mother and father, occupation of mother and father, allowance level, availability of their own room at home, availability of internet at home (p> 0.05). As a result, it is possible to say that the demographic variables in secondary school students do not affect the level of participation in free time activities in general.
