dc.description.abstractBu tez çalışmasında, SiO2/Si/Ge/Si/SiO2 çok katlı yapı içerisinde Ge nanoyapıların yapısal özelliklerinin HRTEM ( Geçirgen Elektron Mikroskobu ) kullanılarak incelenmiştir. İnce filmler GeH4, SiH4 ve N2O gazlarının belirli akış oranları kullanılarak PECVD tekniği ile büyütüldü. PECVD cihazı kullanılarak üretilmiş örnekler, tavlanmamış (as-grown) ve iki farklı sıcaklık değerinde tavlanmış olarak hazırlanıp HRTEM görüntüleri alındı. Isıl tavlamanın Ge nanoyapıların özelliklerine olan etkileri saptandı. HRTEM yöntemi ile belirli bir sıcaklıktaki tavlamalardan Ge nanoyapılarının oluşturulabileceği ve bu nanoyapıların yoğunluğunun tavlama sıcaklığı ve süresi ile ayarlanabileceği gösterildi. Ayrıca artan sıcaklığın nano yapıların oluşumunu doğrudan etkilediği tespit edildi.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this thesis, structural properties of Ge nanostructures in SiO2/Si/Ge/Si/SiO2 multilayers have been investigated by using HRTEM. Thin films have been grown with different flow rates of GeH4, SiH4 and N2O gases by PECVD method. In the next step, the HRTEM images of these films have been observed after processing with non-annealing and annealing in two different temperatures. The effects of annealing on the specifications of Ge nanostructures have been examined. It was showed by HRTEM method that the Ge nanostructure could be produced with annealing them in definite temperature and the densities of these nanostructures could be cotrolled by the temperature and the duration of annealing. Moreover it has been observed that rising the annealing temperature directly effected the formation of nanostructures.en_US
