Özet
Birinci Dünya Sava?ı öncesi Fransa'nın ve diğer birkaç yabancı devletin (özellikle İngiltere ve Almanya) Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'ndaki çıkarlarını ba?ta Jacque Thobie'nin Türkçeye çevrilmemi? ?Interets et İmpérialisme Français dans l'Empire Ottoman? isimli eserinden olmak üzere diğer yabancı ve Türkçe kaynaklardan da faydalanarak anlatmaya çalı?mak. 2. KAPSAMI Zaman kısıtlaması olarak 1895-1914 yılları arasındaki süre dikkate alınmı?tır. Bu süre içerisinde Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nun ihracat ve ithalatı istatistiksel veriler ile açıklanmaya çalı?ılmı?tır. 3. YÖNTEM Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nun ekonomik durumu hakkında yapmı? olduğumuz ara?tırmalarda konu ile birçok kaynağın bulunduğunu tespit ettik. Bu nedenle çalı?mamızı dilimize çevrilmemi? bir kaynağı baz alıp konuyu farklı bir bakı? açısıyla sunmaya çalı?tık. Ayrıca Türkçe, İngilizce ve Almanca kaynaklardan da yararlanarak tezimizi tamamlamaya çalı?tık. SONUÇ Yaptığımız ara?tırmalar sonucunda Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nun zengin kaynaklarının yabancı devletler tarafından sömürüldüğünü gördük. Ayrıca yabancı kaynaklardaki bilgilerin dilimizdekilerden çok farklı olmadığını ve Osmanlı ekonomisinden nasıl faydalanmaya çalı?tıklarını kendilerinin de kabul ettiğini fark ettik. Bugün dahi yabancı devletlerin Türkiye'nin inanılmaz yeraltı ve yerüstü kaynaklarında gözü olduğunu bilmekteyiz. Geçmi?te Osmanlı İmparatorluğu üzerinde oynanan oyunların bilinmesinin, günümüzdeki ekonomik olayların yorumlanmasında büyük etkisi olacağı kanaatindeyiz.
To try to explain the interests of France and a few other foreign countries (especially England and Germany) in The Ottoman Empire prior to WW1 by using first Jacque Thobie?s book titled ?Interests et Imperialisme Français dans l?Empire Ottoman (The Interests and Emperialism of French in The Ottoman Empire)? and other foreign and Turkish sources. 2. EXTENTION The period between 1895-1914 is taken into consideration as a duration. The exports and imports of the Ottoman Empire in that period were tried to explain with the statistical data. 3. METHOD We found many sources related with the economic situation of the Ottoman Empire during the research. Because of this reason, we took the book that didn?t translated into Turkish before as a basis and tried to present the study by a different point of view. In the other hand, we struggled to complete the thesis by using Turkish, English and German sources, too. RESULT We saw that the rich resources of the Ottoman Empire were exploited by foreign countries in the end of studies done by us. We realized that foreign countries were accepting how they were taking advantage of the Ottoman Empire?s Economy. Today, too, we know that foreign countries have an eye on Turkey?s rich underground and over ground resources. We have the opinion that to know the politic and economic games played on the Ottoman Empire in the past will provide a great help in the assessment of present economic events
