Özet
Bu çalışma Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Kurucusu Mustafa Kemal Atatürk'ün din alanındaki düşüncelerinin ve uygulamalarının oluşumunu ve bunların Türkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin kuruluşundaki etkilerini incelemiştir. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk'ün doğduğu ve büyüdüğü çevre, eğitim hayatı, okuduğu yazar ve yayınlar, askeri görevleri ve görev yerlerinin durumu ile Atatürk'ün din ile ilgili düşüncelerinin gelişiminin yanı sıra onun din alanındaki uygulamalarını anlamak adına; Milli Mücadele yıllarında yaşanan gelişmeler ile Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi'nin açılmasından 1924 yılında halifeliğin kaldırılmasına kadar yaşanan süreç de bu çalışmada ele alınmıştır.
This study c1arifies religious reflections and applications of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who is the founder of Turkish Republic, and how these concepts functioned on founding of Turkish Republic. In terms of understanding the religious applications of Atatürk, not only the environment in which Atatürk was bom and grown but also his educational process, the writers and issues read by himself, his military duties and duty stations and, thinking process and development of Atatürk on religion are analyzed through this study. Besides, this study probes into the improvements witnessed during National Struggle and the process which inc1udes the period from inauguration of Turkish Grand National Assembly to the date of abolition of the caliphate in 1924.
