Abstract
Kişilerin bedensel ve ruhsal sağlığının gelişimine katkısı olan spor, etkilediği farklı sektörlerle birlikte ülke ekonomilerine değer katarken büyük bir endüstri haline gelmiştir. Spor kulüpleri bu ekonomik organizasyonun en önemli paydaşıdır. Ekonomik sürdürebilirlik için spor kulüplerinin güçlü ekonomik yapılara sahip olması gerekmektedir. Bu durum spor kulüpleri için yapısal ve hukuksal düzenlemeleri zorunlu hale getirmektedir. Çalışmada spor, spor ekonomisi ve endüstrisi kavramları üzerinde durularak sporun ve futbol özelinde diğer spor dallarının yarattığı katma değer ve dolayısıyla sporun endüstriyelleşme süreci hakkında geniş kapsamlı literatür araştırmasına yer verilmiştir. Özellikle futbolun gelir ve gider kaynakları konusunda yapılmış çalışmalarla kulüplerin ekonomik durumları ve gelişmeleri ortaya konulmuştur. Ekonomik anlamda katma değer yaratan spor ve spor endüstrisinin ekonomik sürdürebilirliğinin sağlanmasının ülke ekonomisi açısından önemi ve bu konuda uluslararası kriterlere uyum, uygulama ve düzenlemelerin UEFA FFP kriterleri çerçevesinde incelenmesi ve çözüm önerilerinde bulunulması amaçlanmıştır. Avrupa'daki futbol kulüpleriyle ülkemizdeki kulüplerin ekonomik uygulamaları incelenip sonuçları karşılaştırılmıştır. Çalışmada, spor endüstrisinin içerisinde hızla gelişen ve ekonomik açıdan da bakıldığında spor dalları içerisinde ekonomik değer yaratmada daha etkin olan futbol kulüplerinin finansal sürdürülebilirliği için değerlendirmelere yer verilmiştir. Sonuç olarak spor ve spor faaliyetlerinin yarattığı endüstrinin ve dolayısıyla ülke ekonomisine sağlayacağı katma değerin sürdürülebilirliğinin finansal açıdan güçlü kulüpleri gerekli kıldığı, bunun ise uluslararası düzenlemelere uyumun gerekliliği ve kulüplerin benzer kriterlerle yönetilmesinin, kulüplerin gelecekte finansal zorluklarla karşılaşmalarının önüne geçilebileceği sonucuna ulaşılmış ve bu konuda önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
Sports, which contributes to the physical and spiritual improvement of people, has become a major industry while adding value to the country's economies along with the different sectors it affects. Sports clubs are the most important stakeholder of that economic organization. For economic sustainability, sports clubs should have strong economic structures. This situation makes structural and legal regulations mandatory for sports clubs. The study focuses on the concepts of sports, sports economics, and industry and includes a wide-ranging literature study on the added value created by sports and other sports branches, especially football, and therefore the process of industrialization of sports. In particular, the economic situation and developments of the clubs are revealed through the studies conducted on the sources of income and expenses of football. It is aimed to examine the importance of ensuring the economic sustainability of the sports and sports industry, which creates added value in an economic sense, from the point of view of the national economy and compliance with international criteria, practices, and regulations in this regard, within the framework of the UEFA FFP criteria, and make solution proposals. The economic practices of football clubs in Europe and ones in our country are examined and their results are compared. In this study, evaluations of the financial sustainability of football clubs that are developing rapidly within the sports industry and are more effective in creating economic value within sports branches from an economic point of view were addressed. As a result, it has been concluded that the sustainability of added value provided to the economy of the country by the industry and economic value created by sports and sports activities necessitates economically strong clubs, therefore the necessity of compliance with international regulations and the management of clubs with similar criteria could prevent clubs from experiencing financial difficulties in the future, and recommendations have been made on this issue.
