Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortaokul öğrencilerinin müziğe yönelik ilgilerini incelemektir. Çalışma grubunu, Ankara ili merkezinde bulunan Ceceli Okulları 5.6.7 ve 8. Sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmaya 2018-2019 eğitim- öğretim yılı güz döneminde 28 Öğrenci ile 5. Sınıf, 39 öğrenci ile 6. Sınıf, 59 öğrenci ile 7. Sınıf ve 46 öğrenci ile 8. Sınıf olmak üzere toplam 172 ortaokul öğrencisi katılmıştır. Araştırmada öğrencilerin müziğe yönelik ilgilerini belirlemeye yönelik veriler elde etmek için, Okay ve ark. (2015) tarafından geliştirilen "Müziğe Yönelik İlgi Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Ölçekte 5 alt boyutta 29 madde yer almaktadır. Ölçek maddelerinin değerlendirilmesinde 5'li Likert tipi ölçek kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesinde SPSS programında frekans, bağımsız gruplarda t-testi ve tek yönlü Varyans analizi (ANOVA), farklılığın hangi gruptan kaynaklandığını bulmak için de Tukey testi uygulanmıştır. Öğrencilerin cinsiyetlerine ilişkin müziğe yönelik ilgilerinin belirlenmesinde çalgı çalmaya ve konsere gitmeye yönelik olumsuz tutumlar alt boyutunda kız öğrenciler lehine anlamlı farklılıklara rastlanmıştır. Buna göre kız öğrencilerin erkek öğrencilere oranla daha fazla çalgı çalmaya ve konsere gitmeye yönelik olumsuz tutum gösterdikleri tespit edilmiştir.
The purpose of this study is to examine the attitudes of secondary school students towards music. The study group is composed of 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8thgraders of a private school in the centre of Ankara. 28 students in 5thgrade, 39 students in 6thgrade, 59 students in 7thgrade, 46 students in 8thgradestotally 172 secondary school students have joined in the study in Autumn period in the 2018-2019 Academic Year. The interest in music scale has been used to acquire knowledge of student's musical interests. 5 point Likert Scale is used to evaluate the scaleitems. Frequency in SPSS programme is used forevaluation of acquireddata's; the T-Test and ANOVA are used in independent groups and determine the group that has the difference as well. The distinctions in determining participant's attitudes towards music are encountered that female students have negative attitudes towards playing an instrument and goingto a concert. It is also determined that female studentss, how much negative attitudes toward playing an instrument and going to the concerts in Accordance with male students.
