dc.description.abstractBütün dünyada insanoğlu az da olsa örtünme ihtiyacı hisseder. Neredeyse her toplumda örtünme hiç değilse “edep yerlerinin gizlenmesi” şeklinde olmuştur. Giyim kişinin esas ihtiyaçlarından birisidir fakat ihtiyaç zamanla kültürel etkilerle temel ihtiyacın ötesine geçmiştir. Zamanla insanoğlu örtünme zorunluluğunu geliştirerek beğeni hâline getirmiş, her toplum da bunu kültür ve medeniyetine uyarlamıştır. Osmanlı sultanlarının kaftanları, elbise, sarık ve kumaşları gücün, statünün ve zenginliğin göstergesi olmuştur. Özellikle kaftanlar, kumaşları ve desenleriyle muhteşem sanat eserleridir. Bazı araştırmalarda basit bir form gibi gösterilmeye çalışılsa da bu kaftanlar ihtişamlı bir görünüşe ve letafete sahiptir. Formları, kalıpları, dikişli süslemeleri, astar ve pervaz süslemeleri, kürklerle ve düğmelerle yapılan tezyinatlar mükemmeldir. Bu kaftanlar, kumaşıyla, motifiyle, ihtişamıyla tüm dünyada hayranlık uyandırmış; yerli, yabancı çeşitli müzelerde sergilenmiş ve korunmuş olan bu kaftanlarla ilgili birçok araştırma yapılmıştır. Bizde bu çalışmamızda, Başbakanlık Osmanlı Arşivleri, Topkapı Sarayı Müzesi Arşiv Defterleri’ndeki padişah elbiseleri için harcanan paralar, padişaha dikilen eşyalar; Bâbüssaâde ağaları ve oradaki görevli kişilerin hak ettikleri elbiseler, bayramlık hediye kaftan, sarık ve değerleri; kapu ağası, has odabaşı, hazinedarbaşı, kilercibaşı ve orada çalışanlar, saray ağası, hazinede çalışanlar, Paşa Sarayı ağası, Edirne Sarayı ağası, Bimarhane ağası, saray kethüdası, bayramlık hediyeler üzerinde duracağız.
dc.description.abstractAll over the world, human beings need more or less veiling. In almost every society, veiling has at least been in the form of “hiding the places of decency”. Clothing, which is one of the basic needs of human beings, has gained meanings beyond being a basic need, mostly with the influence of the cultural structure of the society. Naturally, people have developed this obligation to cover and made it a pleasure, and each society has tried to make it suitable for its own culture and civilization. The caftans, dresses, turbans and fabrics of the Ottoman sultans were the indicators of power, status and wealth. Especially the caftans, with their fabrics and patterns, each is a masterpiece of art. Although it has a simple form, according to many studies, Ottoman caftans have a magnificent appearance and beauty. Form and pattern features, stitching caftans aroused the admiration of the whole world with their fabric, motif and splendor, and many researches have been made on these caftans, which are exhibited and preserved in various local decorations, lining and sill decorations, fur decorations, button decorations are excellent. These and foreign museums. In this study, the money spent for the sultan's clothes, the items sewn to the sultan in the Prime Ministry Ottoman Archives, Topkapı Palace Museum Archive Books; the clothes deserved by the landlords and the officials there, the eid gift caftans, the turban and their values, the clothes and values deserved by the aghas of The Gate of Felicity (Bâbüssaâde); we will focus on the festive gifts of the kapi agha (agha of the gate), the chief chamberlain, the chief treasurer, the head of the cellar and those working there, the palace magnate, those working in the treasury, the Pasha Palace lord, the Edirne Palace lord, the Bimarhane lord, chamberlain of the palace.
