Özet
İYEP ilkokulların 3. sınıflarına devam eden, önceki eğitim - öğretim yılları içinde çeşitli nedenlerle Türkçe ve matematik dersi öğretim programlarındaki öğrenme alanlarında yer alan ve bu program kapsamında belirlenen kazanımları yeterli düzeyde edinemeyen öğrencilerin bu alanlardaki eksik öğrenmelerinin giderilmesini, psiko-sosyal alanda da desteklenmesini amaçlayan bir tedbir programıdır. Bu çalışmada 2018-2019 öğretim yılında ilk kez uygulanan İYEP programı kapsamında özellikli olarak matematik derslerinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmış ve İYEP kapsamında matematik derslerini yürüten sınıf öğretmenlerinin İYEP matematik dersi ve sürecine ilişkin görüşleri incelenmiştir. Araştırma 2018- 2019 bahar döneminin sonunda gerçekleştirilmiş olup katılımcılar Kırıkkale ili merkez ve ilçelerindeki ilkokullarda görev yapan 86 sınıf öğretmenidir. Araştırmanın verileri araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen açık uçlu yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre sınıf öğretmenleri İYEP matematik kazanımlarını ve etkinlik kitabını yeterli ve kapsamlı olarak değerlendirmiş fakat matematik dersleri için ayrılan süreyi yetersiz bulmuştur. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin İYEP’i genel olarak benimsediği ve verimli bulduğu belirtilebilir.
IYEP is a national educational program which aims to eliminate the lack of learning of primary school students who continue their primary school education and has difficulties in the previous academic year for various reasons in Turkish language and mathematics curriculum and give psycho-social support in the field. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the mathematics courses specifically of İYEP which implemented for the first time in the 2018-2019 academic year and understand the opinions of the primary school teachers who teach mathematics courses. The participants were 86 primary school teachers in Kırıkkale province and the data was collected by an open-ended semi-structured interview form. The results revealed that primary school teachers found mathematics program and activity book adequate and comprehensive enough, but thought the time allocated for mathematics courses were insufficient. It can be stated that primary school teachers generally adopt İYEP and find it efficient and necessary
