Dendrimers which made up of repeating units, are branched, spherical molecules. Dendrimers are nanomaterials that can be used in many different areas because of their high chemical reactivity due to the large number of end groups. In this thesis, new Fe3O4 core magnetic dendrimers were synthesized for the enrichment of Cr(III) and Cr(VI) and their structures were investigated by various spectroscopic methods. The structures of magnetic dendrimers were illuminated by spectroscopic methods such as FT-IR, XRD and microscopically examined with devices such as SEM, TEM. The enrichment process for Cr(III) and Cr(VI) was carried out by solid phase extraction (SPE) procedure using magnetic dendrimer. By using magnetic dendrimer, enrichment process was performed for Cr(III) and Cr(VI) with solid phase extraction (SPE) procedure and optimum (pH, eluent type-concentration, time, amount etc.) conditions were determined by flame atomic adsorption spectroscopy (FAAS). The optimum conditions obtained as a result of the analyzes were applied to the real samples.
