dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada, 99 hastadan alınan benign, malign over tümör dokularında ve metastaz dokularında Glutatyon-S-Transferaz izozimlerinden GSTM1, GSTP1 ve p53 ekspresyonlarının immünohistokimyasal bulguları değerlendirildi. GST ekspresyonu ve p53 arasındaki ilişki Mann Whitney-U testi ile ve klinik parametrelerle (yaş) ilişkisine Spearman Correlation Rank testi ile bakılmıştır. Over malign dokularında GSTP1 ve p53 ekspresyonları benign dokulara oranla daha fazla olduğu bulunmuştur. Over kanser hastalarında, GSTP1 ve p53 proteininin malign dokularda yüksek ekspresyonda olması over kanserinin ilerlemesinde ve gelişmesinde önemli olduğunu gösterir. p53ekspresyonu ve metastaz hastaların yaşları arasında pozitif korelasyon görülmüştür.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study the immunohistochemical staining characteristics of glutathione-S- transferase mu (GSTM1), pi (GSTP1), p53 in over benign, malign and metastatic tissue from 99 patients were investigated. Relationships between p53 and GST expressions in over cancer tissue were examined by the Mann Whitney-U test and the clinicopathological data (age) were examined by the spearman correlation rank test. GSTP1 and p53 expressions in over benign cells were significantly higher than those in over malign cells. In over cancer patients the higher expresions of GSTP1, and p53 proteins in metastatic over tissues could be important in over cancer progressions and development. There was a positive correlation between p53 expression and patient's age in metastatic group.en_US
