The aim of this study was to examine the development of the concepts of freedom and society from the past to the present, the relationship of the two concepts and the historical adventure of political thought accompanied by these concepts within the framework of important thinkers. Technological developments and people's interest in science combined with the transition to the Modern era have increased their fondness for changing political systems and their own freedoms much more than in the past. During this period, when repressive administrations were involved, many thinkers appeared and tried to shed light on people's problems. By the century, freedom and society began to take on many new meanings. Freedom, which in the past corresponded to freedom of death and freedom of eating and drinking, 20.
