Özet
Bu araştırmada, Uzun Firdevsî lakabıyla meşhur 15. yy. yazarlarından Firdevsî-i Rûmî'nin "Süleymân-nâme" adlı eserinin 67. ve 68. ciltlerinin tenkitli metni oluşturulmuş ve eser incelenmiştir. Eserde geçen hikâye ve anlatılarda bulunan unsurlar tahlil edilmiştir. Topkapı sarayı müzesi H1535 ve K892'de kayıtlı olan eserin iki nüshası da müellif tarafından yazılmadığı için iki nüsha önce transkribe edilmiş daha sonra da H1535'de kayıtlı nüsha şekil ve muhteva bakımından eksiksiz olduğundan bu nüsha esas alınarak diğer nüsha ile karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır. Farklılıklar dipnotlarda gösterilmek suretiyle orijinal bir nüsha oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Üç ana bölümden oluşan çalışmada; birinci bölümde Firdevsî-i Rûmî'nin hayatı ve eserleri tanıtılmış, ikinci bölümde çalışmaya konu olan Süleymân-nâme (67-68. ciltler) hakkında eserin şekil ve muhtevasına yönelik bilgiler, metinden hareketle farklı başlıklar altında incelenip sunulmuştur. Bu ciltlerde geçen hikâyelerin özetleri her bir mecliste geçtiği sıraya göreye verilmiştir. Buna göre eserde; din, cemiyet, tarihte meşhur şahsiyetler, mitolojik ve metafizik şahsiyetler, içtimâî hayat, tabiat, zaman, mekân ve hayvanlar vb. başlıklar oluşturulup tespit edilen unsurlar sosyal bilimlerin diğer dalları ile ilişkilendirilerek eserdeki kavramlar açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde eserin tenkitli metnine yer verilmiş; 67. ve 68. Ciltlerin nüshaları tanıtılmış, tenkitli metin kurulurken izlenilen yöntemlerden bahsedilmiş ve eserin tenkitli metnine yer verilmiştir. Çalışmanın "Sonuç" kısmında, eserin inceleme kısmından elde edilen bulgular değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda ise yer, şahıs ve eser isimlerinden oluşan "Dizin" kısmı yer almaktadır.

Since the two copies of the work registered in Topkapi Palace Museum H1535 and K892 were not written by the author, two copies were first transcribed and then the copy registered in H1535 was compared with the other copy as it is complete in terms of shape and content. An original copy was tried to be created by showing the differences in the footnotes. The study consists of three main parts: in the first part, the life and works of Firdevs-i Rumi were introduced, and in the second part, the information about the form and content of the work about Suleyman-name (volumes 67-68) was examined and presented under different headings. The summaries of the stories mentioned in these volumes were given according to the order in which each assembly takes place. Accordingly, in the work, religion, society, famous personalities in history, mythological and metaphysical personalities, social life, nature, time, space and animals, etc. titles were created, and identified elements were associated with other branches of social sciences to explain the concepts. In the third part, the criticized text of the work was given; the copies of the 67th and 68th of volumes were introduced, the methods followed during the establishment of criticized text were mentioned and the criticized text of the work was included. In the "Conclusion" section of the study, the findings obtained from the review section of the work were evaluated. At the end of the study, the "Index" section is composed of names of places, persons and works.
