| dc.description.abstract | ÖZET Bu çalışmada Tanzimat'tan Cumhuriyet' e uzanan süreç içinde Osmanlı toplumunun yaşadığı sosyal değişmeler Abdurrahman Şeref etrafında incelenmiştir. Modernleşme süreci ile eğitim hayatında yaşanan değişmeler, Tanzimat fikrinin halka yayılmasında mekteplerden yetişen aydınların rolü, ele alman konular arasındadır. Bundan başka Abdurrahman Şerefin hayatı, siyasî faaliyetleri, tarihçiliği ve eserleri tezin başlıca amacıdır. Osmanlı tarihçiliğinin Tanzimat sonrasında geçirdiği değişmeler de bu bağlamda değerlendirilmiştir. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Ill ABSTRACT In this work, the changes that took place in the Ottoman society from Tanzimat until the Republic were studied by the example of Abdurrahman Şeref. The changes in the education system with the modernization period, the role of the intellectuals, educated in the modern schools, in spreading the idea of Tanzimat are among the subjects that were dealt with. Moreover, the life of Abdurrahman Şeref, his political activities, his historiography and Works are the main objects of this thesis. The changes in the Ottoman historiography after Tanzimat has also been evaluated with in this context. | en_US |
