dc.description.abstractProtected areas are evaluated under different conservation status in accordance with the resource values that the area has, and these areas are included as different conservation status in the relevant laws and regulations of different countries of the world and Turkey. There are also protected statuses reserved for recreational and tourist uses within these protected statuses. These statuses are located under different names in the world and in Turkey. In Turkey, one of the areas where recreational and tourist uses are allowed within the Protected Area status under the National Parks Law No. 2873 is Intra-Forest Recreation Areas. In this study, our country’s protected area status from someone who Intra-Forest Recreation (promenade) in the first of the field in the world and Turkey are dealt with legal and managerial aspects of the historical development and in the sequel describes the methodology and planning stages for the planning of these areas. © Peter Lang GmbH Internationaler Verlag der Wissenschaften Berlin 2021 All rights reserved.
