Belonging is the ability of individuals to be themselves, to feel as if they are a part of the place they are in and to integrate with it. The places where individuals belong are the places where they can be themselves, the places where they ensure their belonging. Otherwise, if individuals cannot realise their belonging, they may always feel themselves in a void and like a guest. This state of emptiness can reveal many problems for individuals. Social belonging is a concept that expresses the commitment of individuals to their societies. One of the innate needs of individuals is the need for belonging. This need must be met for individuals to lead a peaceful and healthy life. In this respect, it is considered important for individuals to develop belonging towards their societies. Identity is a concept that gives information about who individuals are and their personalities. The questions of who are you or where are you from that we encounter in daily life are questions that emphasise both the identity and belonging ties of individuals. Therefore, the concepts of identity and belonging are seen as interrelated concepts. Young people are individuals who try to find a place for themselves in society and try to create a certain philosophy of life. The questions they ask themselves in getting to know themselves and making sense of their lives can be based on identity and belonging. Young people are the individuals who will carry societies forward and add new individuals to their societies. Today, there are many actual problems for young people. Recently, the fact that young people have so many social problems can also distance them from the society they live in. From this point of view, it is important to make visible the young people whose lack of social belonging is weakening and to address this issue from their perspective. Because unhappy youth can give birth to unhappy children. In this respect, this thesis has been developed to reveal the invisible or visible problems of young people and to make this painful period experienced by young people more visible. The sample of youth is analysed in terms of 'Kırıkkale University sociology department students'. In this study, after providing information about the literature on social belonging and identity, interviews were conducted with the students of the Department of Sociology at Kırıkkale University and sociological evaluations were made through the statements of young people.
