Özet
Bu tez çalışması dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölüm giriş için ayrılmıştır. İkinci bölümde Split kuaterniyonlar tanıtılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde öncelikle Split kuaterniyon matrisler tanıtılmış ve cebirsel özellikleri ele alınmıştır. Daha sonra Split kuaterniyon matrislerin özdeğer ve öz vektör kavramları tanıtılmıştır. Ayrıca Split kuaterniyon matrisin kompleks temsilcisi yardımıyla özdeğer ve özvektörlerini elde etmek için yöntemler incelenmiştir. Son olarak bu kavramlarla ilgili örnekler verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölüm ise tartışma ve sonuç için ayrılmıştır.
This thesis consist of four chapter. The first chapter is reserved for introduction. In the second chapter Split quaternions are introduced. In the third chapter, firstly, Split quternion matrices are introduced and their algebraic properties are discussed. Then, eigenvalue and eigenvector notions of Split quaternion matrices are introduced. In addition, methods to obtain eigenvalues and eigenvectors with the aid of the complex representation of the Split quaternion matrix are examined. Finally, examples of these notions are given.
