Matematik öğretmeni adaylarının etkinlik ve materyal geliştirme sürecindeki ilişkilendirme becerilerinin incelenmesi

Özet
Bu araştırmanın amacı ilköğretim matematik öğretmen adaylarının yaratıcı etkinlik ve materyal geliştirme becerilerinde ve verilen bir oyunda saptadıklarını ilişkilendirme türlerini belirlemek ve incelemektir. Araştırma 2019-2020 eğitim öğretim yılında İç Anadolu'da bulunan bir devlet üniversitesinin Eğitim Fakültesinde, İlköğretim Matematik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalında okumakta olan öğretmen adayları ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma grubu aynı sınıf içerisinde eğitimine devam 2. sınıf öğretmen adaylarından oluşan toplamda 8 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Çalışma grubunun belirlenmesinde amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden biri olan tipik durum örneklemesi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin toplanması, analizi ve yorumlanmasında nitel araştırma yöntemleri içerisinde yer alan durum çalışması yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Araştırmanın veri toplama araçları, 7 sorudan oluşan görüş alma formu, öğretmen adaylarının oluşturdukları etkinlikler ve materyallerinin tanıtım videolarından oluşmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda; öğretmen adaylarının görüş alma formu yanıtlarında, geliştirdikleri materyal ve etkinliklerde ilişkilendirmeye yer verdikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğretmen adaylarına uygulanılan görüş alma formundan elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda öğretmen adaylarının ifadelerinde en fazla kavramlar ve işlemler arasında ilişkilendirmeye yer verildiğini göstermektedir. Ayrıca matematik ile diğer disiplinlerin ilişkilendirilmesine yönelik bir bulgu saptanamasa da öğretmen adaylarının diğer dört ilişkilendirme becerisine yer verildiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularından elde edilen verilere dayanarak tartışma yapılmış ve ayrıca araştırmacılara, öğretmenlere ve öğretmen adaylarına yönelik önerilere yer verilmiştir.
The aim of this study is to determine and examine the types of associations that primary school mathematics teacher candidates have identified in their creative activity and material development skills and in a given game. The research was carried out with pre-service teachers studying in the Department of Primary Education Mathematics Education at the Faculty of Education of a state university in Central Anatolia in the 2019-2020 academic year. The study group consists of 8 people in total, consisting of 2nd grade teacher candidates who continue their education in the same classroom. The typical case sampling method, which is one of the purposive sampling methods, was used to determine the study group. The case study method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was preferred in the collection, analysis and interpretation of the data. The data collection tools of the research consisted of an opinion form consisting of 7 questions, the activities created by the pre-service teachers and the promotional videos of their materials. The data obtained within the scope of the research were analyzed with content analysis and supported by frequency analysis. As a result of the analyzes made; It was concluded that the pre-service teachers included association in the materials and activities they developed in their responses to the opinion form. In line with the data obtained from the opinion-taking form applied to the pre-service teachers, it shows that hte most frequent asociations between concepts and processes are included in the statements of the pre-service teachers. In addition, although no finding could be found about associating mathematics with other disciplines, it was concluded that the other four association skills of pre-service teachers were included. Based on the data obtained from the recearch findings, a discussion was made and also suggestions for recearchers, teachers and teacher candidates were included.
