dc.description.abstractBu çalışmanın temel amacı, anne-babaya bağlanma ile problemli internet kullanımı ilişkisinde bilişsel tamamlanma ihtiyacının aracılık etkisini bir model bağlamında incelemektir. Ek olarak, bu değişkenlerin bazı demografik değişkenlere göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı incelenmiştir. İlişkisel tarama modelinin kullanıldığı çalışmada araştırma grubunu, %40'ı erkek (n= 176), %60'ı (n= 253) kadın olmak üzere toplam 429 birey oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak "Problemli İnternet Kullanımı Ölçeği", "Ebeveyn Bağlanma Envanteri-Kısa Formu" ve "Tamamlanma İhtiyacı Ölçeği-Kısa Formu" kullanılmıştır. Path modeli, t-Testi ve ANOVA verilerin analizinde yararlanılan temel istatistiklerdir. Araştırma sonucunda, anneye bağlanmanın (ß= .20, p< .01), babaya bağlanmanın (ß= .08, p < .01) ve tamamlanma ihtiyacının (ß= .01, p< .01) problemli internet kullanımı üzerinde pozitif ve düşük düzeyde yordayıcı gücünün olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Anneye bağlanmanın (ß= .10, p< .01) ve babaya bağlanmanın da (ß= .04, p< .01) tamamlanma ihtiyacı üzerinde pozitif ve düşük düzeyde yordayıcı gücünün olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonucunda, tamamlanma ihtiyacının aracılık rolü gözlenmektedir. Anneye bağlanmanın (ß= .001, p< .01) ve babaya bağlanmanın (ß= .0004, p< .01) tamamlanma ihtiyacı üzerinden problemli internet kullanımına dolaylı etkisinin düşük ve pozitif olduğu bulgusu elde edilmiştir. Anneye bağlanmanın (ß= .20, p< .01) ve babaya bağlanmanın (ß= .08, p< .01) toplam etkisi problemli internet kullanımı ile düşük düzeyde pozitif ilişkili bulunmuştur. Araştırmanın analizi sonrasında elde edilen bulgular, alanyazındaki araştırma sonuçlarıyla karşılaştırılarak tartışılmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe main purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effect of the need for cognitive closure in the relationship between parental bonding and problematic internet use in a context of a path model. In addition, it was investigated that do these variables differenciate in respect of certain demographic variables or not. In the study, which is a relational screening model, the study group consisted of 429 individuals (40% male (n = 176) and 60% (n = 253) female). Problematic Internet Use Scale, Parental Attachment Inventory-Short Form and Need for Cognitive Closure Scale-Short Form were used in order to gather the data. Path model, t-Test and ANOVA are the basic statistics in this study. As a result of the study, it was found that attachment to the mother (ß = .20, p <.01), attachment to the father (ß = .08, p <.01) and the need for cognitive closure (ß = .01, p <.01) have positive low effect on problematic internet use. It was found that attachment to the mother (ß = .10, p <.01) and attachment to the father (ß = .04, p <.01) had a positive and low predictor power on the need for cognitive closure. As a result of the analysis made, the mediating role of the need for cognitive closure is observed. It was found that the indirect effect of attachment to mother (ß = .001, p <.01) and attachment to father (ß = .0004, p <.01) due to the need for cognitive closure on problematic internet use was low and positive. The total effect of attachment to the mother (ß = .20, p <.01) and attachment to the father (ß = .08, p <.01) was found to be positively associated with problematic internet use. The findings obtained after the analysis of the research were discussed and compared with the results of the literature.en_US
