Özet
Bu çalışmada, diplomasinin süreci ve tarihi gelişimi incelenmiştir. Fransızcadaki diplomasi terimlerinin Türkçeye çevirisinde karşılaşılacak zorluklar tespit edilmiştir. Bu zorluklar için öneriler sunulmuştur. Diplomasi dilinin ülkeler arasındaki ilişkiler için çok önemli olduğu düşünülmüştür. Bu nedenle, diplomasi terimlerinin çevirisi Türkiye'nin hem Avrupa Birliği hem de Fransa ile olan ilişkiler açısından önemli bir konudur. Çalışmamızın temelini oluşturan Fransızca diplomasi terimlerinin tercümesinin çok önemli olduğu düşünülmüş ve diplomasi terimleriyle ilgili araştırmalara katkıda bulunacağı umulmuştur. In this study, the process and historical development of the diplomacy is examined. It has been determined that the difficulties may be encountered in translating the words of French diplomacy in Turkish. Suggestions were presented for these difficulties. Diplomacy language is thought to be very important for relations between countries. For this reason, the translation of the terms of diplomacy is an important issue in terms of Turkey's relations with both the European Union and France. The translation of the terms of French diplomacy, which forms the basis of our work, was thought to be very important and it was hoped that it would contribute to the research on the terms of diplomacy.
