Fen öğretiminde teknolojik ders materyalleri uygulamalarının akademik başarı üzerine etkisi ve öğretmen-öğrenci görüşleri

Özet
Yapılan bu çalışmada ortaokul fen bilimleri dersinde teknolojik ders materyali kullanımının öğrencilerin akademik başarı düzeyleri üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada ön-son test deney ve kontrol gruplu araştırma modelinden faydalanılmıştır. Araştırmaya Aksaray ilinin Ortaköy ilçesinde bulunan 29 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmada 15 öğrenci deney grubunda yer alırken, 14 öğrenci ise kontrol grubu olarak çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Deney grubundaki öğrenciler dersleri bilgisayar destekli teknolojik ders materyalleri ile işlerken, kontrol grubundaki öğrenciler ise mevcut uygulamadaki öğretim uygulamaları ile dersleri yürütmüştür. Her iki gruba da çalışmanın öncesinde ve sonrasında araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen başarı testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonunda kontrol grubundaki öğrenciler ile kıyaslandığı zaman deney grubundaki öğrencilerin akademik başarı düzeylerinin daha fazla geliştiği tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmen görüşlerine göre de mevcut uygulamadaki öğretim uygulamalarına kıyasla derslerde teknolojik ders materyallerinden yararlanılmasının öğrenci gelişimine daha fazla katkı sağladığı belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, ortaokul fen bilimleri derslerinde öğrencilerin akademik başarı düzeylerinin arttırılması için teknolojik ders materyallerinden yararlanılmasının faydalı olacağı söylenebilir.
In this study, it was aimed to examine the effect of the use of technological course materials in secondary school science courses on students' academic achievement levels. The research model with pre-post test, experiment and control group was used in the study. 29 students from Ortaköy district of Aksaray province participated in the research. While 15 students were in the experimental group in the study, 14 students were included in the study as the control group. Students in the experimental group taught the lessons with computer-assisted technological course materials, the students in the control group conducted the lessons with the currently applied teaching method. An achievement test developed by the researcher was applied to both groups before and after the study. At the end of the study, when compared to the students in the control group, it was determined that the academic achievement levels of the students in the experimental group improved more. According to the opinions of the teachers, it was determined that the use of technological course materials in the lessons contributed more to the development of the students compared to the currently applied teaching methods. As a result, it can be said that it would be beneficial to use technological course materials in order to increase the academic achievement levels of students in secondary school science courses.
