dc.description.abstractThe negative, high-spin states of the even-odd Er-159 similar to 163 isotopes were studied within the framework of the interacting boson-fermion model. The single fermion is assumed to be in a Ih(9/2), 3p(3/2), 2f(5/2) or 3p(1/2) single-particle orbit. The calculated negative high-spin state energy spectra of the odd Er isotope were found to agree quite well with the experimental data. The B(E2) values were also calculated and compared with the experimental data.en_US
