dc.description.abstractDue tothe constantly changing and evolving industrial environment shaped by newtechnologies, students who are about to join the labor force must meet theneeds and expectations of the industry. This can be ensured by the students'self-improvement and the compatibility of their academic education with the newtechnologies. In this context, to determine the level of knowledge and interestof industrial engineering students on new technologies related to Industry 4.0,and to investigate on which subjects they feel themselves competent orinadequate is getting more and more important. The aim of this study is toinvestigate the Industrial 4.0 awareness of industrial engineeringstudents. The data used in the study were obtained from thequestionnaire applied to the students who were studying in the IndustrialEngineering Department of Eskişehir Osmangazi University in the spring term of2018. The results revealed the students' view of Industry 4.0 and highlightedthe priorities and expectations of students about engineering education.
dc.description.abstractYeniteknolojilerle şekillenen, sürekli değişim ve gelişim gösteren endüstriyelortam sebebiyle, işgücüne katılmak üzere olan öğrenciler, endüstrinin ihtiyaçve beklentilerini karşılamalıdır. Bu durum, öğrencilerin kendilerinigeliştirmelerini ve aldıkları akademik eğitimin de yeni teknolojilerle uyumluluğuile sağlanabilir. Bu bağlamda, endüstri mühendisliği öğrencilerinin Endüstri4.0 başlığı altında konumlanmış yeni teknolojilere olan ilgilerinin ve bilgidüzeylerinin tespiti, öğrencilerin kendilerini hangi konularda yetkin ya dayetersiz hissettiklerinin araştırılması önemlidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı,endüstri mühendisliği öğrencilerinin Endüstri 4.0 farkındalıklarınınaraştırılmasıdır. Çalışmada kullanılan veriler, Eskişehir OsmangaziÜniversitesi Endüstri Mühendisliği’nde 2018 Bahar döneminde eğitimine devameden öğrencilere anket çalışması uygulanarak elde edilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda,118 katılımcıdan elde edilen anket verileri kullanılarak SPSS programıaracılığıyla yapılan istatistiksel analizler yorumlanmıştır. Sonuçlar,öğrencilerin Endüstri 4.0'a bakış açısını ortaya koymuş ve mühendislik eğitimiile ilgili öncelikli hususları ve öğrencilerin beklentilerini açığaçıkarmıştır.
