| dc.description.abstract | Aralarında madde geçişi olan, kompartman veya havuz ismini taşıyan sonlu sayıda alt sistemden oluşan sisteme kompartman sistemi denir. Bir kompartmandan madde geçiş oranı o kompartmandaki madde miktarı ile orantılı olduğunda kompartman modeli bir doğrusal diferansiyel denklem sistemi olup çözümler geçiş oranı sabitlerine göre lineer olmayan fonksiyonlardır. Amaç geçiş oranı sabitlerini tahmin etmektir. Bu çalışmada, geçiş oranı sabitlerinin tahmin işleminin işlerliğini görmek amacıyla sürekli zaman Markov sürecine göre rasgele ve bağımsız hareket eden parçacıkların hareketi olarak modellenen bir kompartman modeli üzerinde simtilasyon çalışması yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak gözlenen kompartman sayısı fazlalaştıkça tahminlerin daha iyi olduğu görülmüştür. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | A compartmental system is a system made up of a finite number of subsystems, called compartments or pools which interact by exchanging materials. When the rate of transfer of material from a compartment is proportional to the current amount of material in it, then the compartmental model is a linear systems of differential equations, with solutions in the form of nonlinear functions of rate constants. The primary aim is to estimate these constants. In this study a simulation study is carried on a compartmental model with material transfer caused by independent random movement of particles according to a continuous time Markov process in order to evaluate the estimation procedure for the transfer rate constants. As a result it is seen that the estimates are more accurate when more compartments are observed. | en_US |
