Özet
In this study it's aimed to determine the classroom teacher candidates' views about phoneme based sentence method that being implemented to adults. For this purpose, unstructured interview method was used and for analyzing data, content analyses method was used.Research was done in 2010-2011 academic year with third graders in of Primary School Teacher Training Programme in Kirikkale University. The participants were 28 students who teach reading and writing to adults. The results show that students find phoneme based sentence method useful and they think this method provides limited conveniences in the learning process but brought with many challenges too. Also the students' views indicate that this method has positive impact on permanent learning and learning speed.
