Özet
Purpose: This descriptive and cross-sectional study was made to measure the service satisfaction of inpatients in a state hospital. Methods: The study included 82 adult patients hospitalized for at least 3 days and who agreed to complete the survey. The data were collected with a questionnaire including social demographic and health service characteristics and “The Service Satisfaction Measuring Scale”. Results: Those who participated in the research are reasonably satisfied with the services of the hospital (53.63 %). According to the total points of scale, the patients get the highest satisfaction from Patients' rights services (63.01%); and lowest from other health care services, and bureaucratic procedures (48.46%). There isn’t significant correlation between satisfaction levels and social demographic and health service characteristics. Conclusion: As a result, the overall satisfaction of patients were found to above average and patients would prefer this hospital again for another identified health problem. © 2012 Düzce Medical Journal.
