Özet
Fine Kinney yöntemi iş sağlığı ve güvenliği risk analizinde çok yaygın kullanılan yöntemlerdendir. Yaygın kullanımına karşın bu yönteme dair bilimsel literatürün kısıtlı oluşu yöntemin matematiksel temellerinin ve kısıtlarının endüstriyel uygulamacılar tarafından doğru anlaşılmasını engellemiştir. Bu çalışma yöntemin risk faktörlerinin hesabında altı temel problem olduğunu öne sürmekte ve bunlar için çözümler önermektedir. Esas problem frekans ve olasılık faktörlerinin ve bunların arasındaki ilişkinin doğru anlaşılmasındaki sıkıntılardır. Ne yazık ki yönteme ait temel bir referansta bile tanımlamaların muğlak şekilde yapılmış olması problemi daha da büyütmektedir. Çalışmada temel olasılık teorisi kullanılarak problemler ortaya konmuş ve çözümler sunulmuştur
The Fine Kinney method is an extensively employed risk analysis method in occupational health and safety. In spite of its widespread use the scientific literature has remained rather limited, which has hindered understanding its mathematical foundations and limitations by the industry users. This research argues that there are six main problems in calculation of risk factors and proposed solutions. The main problem lies in the lack of correct understanding of the frequency and probability factors and their relation. Unfortunately, vague definitions, even in one of the essential references, adds to this problem. Basic probability theory is employed for laying out the problems and for solutions
