dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this article is to review the business management field evolution from 2000 up to date and to map the conceptual, social, and intellectual structure of the research in this field. Data were collected from the WoS database, comprising 12,145 articles published between 2000 and 2022. Several bibliometric techniques were applied, including analysis of co-words, co-citation, bibliographic coupling, and co-authorship networks in addition to performance analysis. VosViewer and the Bibliometrix/Biblioshiny packages were used to perform the analyses. Besides revealing the evolution of the business management field, the results identify the most active and influential authors, articles, journals, and topics in this field.
