Özet

Elementary school mathematics curriculum aims at developing these skills;problem solving,communication, connections and reasoning. This study purposes to determine elementary school teachers' opinions about the skills that the mathematics curriculum had targeted to gain to the students. The study was done in 2008-2009 Academic Years and a total of 134 elementary school teachers were participated in the study.'Descriptive Statistical Method' was used and the questionnaire's reliability and validity was found to be 0.89(Cronbach Alpha).Due to this study,concerning the development of these skills of elementary mathematics curriculum in students,it's stated that the teachers indicated their views as 'sometimes'.
