Özet
Bu çalışma, Kırıkkale Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmenliği Bölümü 1. sınıf öğrencilerinin Okul Deneyimi I dersine başlamadan önce, derse ilişkin algılarını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışmada öğrencilerin Okul Deneyimi I dersi ile ilgili algılarını belirlemek için bir anket uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin öğretmenlik mesleğinin kişisel özelliklerine uyduğu ve öğretmen olmayı istedikleri; Okul Deneyimi I dersinin gelecekteki öğrenim yaşantılarını şekillendirmede yardımcı ve öğretmenlik mesleğini daha iyi tanımada önemli olduğunu algıladıkları belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca spor yapmış veya spora yatkın olanların, hiç spor yapmamış veya yeterince uğraşmamış olanlara oranla daha az kaygılı ve kendilerine daha güvenli oldukları belirlenmiştir.
This study was carried out to determine the students' initial perceptions, at the beginning of the class, about School Experience I course in Kırıkkale University, the College of Education, the Department of Physical Education. To this end, a questionnaire, which has been applied to all members of the class, has been used. The results indicate that the students perceived that teaching career matches their personality and that School Experience I course is helpful to let them better recognize the responsibilities of teaching career and better shape their future educational experiences. Additionally, students who have some experience or ability in sports have been found to be more confident and less anxious than those who have no practice or ability in the field.
