A new scorpion species, Euscorpius lycius sp. n., is described based on specimens collected from Mugla and Antalya Provinces, in southwestern Turkey. It is characterized by a standard trichobothrial pattern (Pv= 8/9, et= 6, em= 4, eb= 4), small size and light brown/reddish coloration.
